RoboCop is heading back to the streets—and this time, it’s personal. Developer Teyon and publisher Nacon have officially unveiled a new gameplay overview trailer for RoboCop: Rogue City – Unfinished Business, a standalone expansion launching July 17 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, with a Mac version coming later.
The new $29.99 standalone title takes fans deeper into the RoboCop universe with a more brutal, blood-soaked take on FPS action and a glimpse into the man behind the machine. For the first time in a game, players will control Alex Murphy pre-transformation, exploring his past as he takes on a mission that ties directly into the events that shaped his future as RoboCop.
What’s New in Unfinished Business?
Set inside the towering depths of OmniTower, Unfinished Business throws players into claustrophobic corridors filled with all-new enemy types, including:
- Jetpack enemies and katana-wielding cyborgs
- Flying drones and heavily armored squads
- And yes—vending machines to slam heads into.
Combat is even gorier and more visceral, with new weapons like the Cryo Cannon, which freezes enemies solid before shattering them. Players can also unleash new finishing moves to deliver justice with brutal precision.
Take Control of ED-209
One of the most exciting additions? You’ll get to play as ED-209 during a special mission, using its iconic twin autocannons to mow down waves of foes. It’s RoboCop fan service at its finest.
A Standalone Experience
No prior copy of RoboCop: Rogue City is required to play Unfinished Business, and the game comes in both digital and physical formats for consoles. With RoboCop: Rogue City already surpassing a million players, this new entry aims to up the ante with tighter encounters, deeper lore, and enough ultraviolence to make Clarence Boddicker proud.
