Amplified Games Ltd and Indonesian indie studio Posh Cat Studio have announced that Little Problems: A Cozy Detective Game will launch on September 9th, 2025 for PC via Steam. A new trailer offers a first look at the game’s blend of lighthearted detective work and everyday slice-of-life charm.
A Cozy Spin on the Detective Genre
Little Problems is the debut release from Posh Cat Studio, a small, female-led developer from Indonesia. While the team initially set out to make a more traditional murder mystery game, they shifted direction after realizing that extended time spent immersed in dark and violent material might harm their mental health.
Instead, the studio leaned into cozy games and wholesome content, creating something lighthearted that still celebrates the investigative spirit.
“Little Problems focuses on solving mysteries based on life’s minor inconveniences and everyday misunderstandings, and of course, little problems,” explained Melisa, Lead Developer and Founder at Posh Cat Studio. “Detective work here is about connecting with friends, understanding the small yet significant issues of daily life, and finding joy in the simplicity of resolution.”
Meet Mary and Her Everyday Challenges
Players step into the role of Mary, a freshman university student facing small but relatable challenges. From oversleeping and missing a lecture to forgetting where a study group is supposed to meet, Mary’s problems may not be world-ending—but they still require some sleuthing, problem-solving, and creativity to resolve.
The game invites players to embrace the lighter side of detective work, focusing on comfort, friendship, and the everyday stories that make life meaningful.

Little Problems will be available worldwide with English and Simplified Chinese language support. The game is being published by Amplified Games, following their earlier release of Polterguys this year.
