Independent developer and publisher Rogueside has announced that its upcoming metal-themed survivor-like Devil Jam will launch on Steam on November 3rd, 2025. The roguelite throws players into a demonic concert gone wrong, where survival means keeping the rhythm and your soul alive.
A Gig Straight from Hell
In Devil Jam, you play as a struggling musician who signs a cursed contract with the Devil and is dragged into the underworld for a “gig” that’s anything but ordinary. Each performance pits you against waves of monstrous fans and rival demons in a brutal, music-driven fight for survival.
Players wield possessed instruments that attack in sync with the metal beat, letting you shred through enemies to the rhythm of chaos. Every run is a fresh jam session, featuring procedurally generated challenges and nearly infinite build possibilities.
Key Gameplay Features
- Rhythm-driven combat: Weapons auto-play to the beat, turning every battle into a heavy metal performance.
- Hand-drawn hellscapes: Stylized visuals and detailed effects bring the infernal concert to life.
- 12-slot inventory system: Over 4.93 quadrillion possible weapon and synergy combinations.
- Boss fights that test skill and strategy across different musical mayhem stages.
When to Play
Devil Jam launches November 3rd, 2025, exclusively on Steam. Fans of Vampire Survivors or Metal: Hellsinger should keep this one on their radar; it’s shaping up to be one loud night in Hell.
