New Dragon Ball Game Project “AGE 1000” Announced by Bandai Namco for 2027

Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. has officially announced a brand-new Dragon Ball game project titled “AGE 1000,” unveiling the project during the Dragon Ball Genkidamatsuri event held on January 25, 2026. The ambitious new title is currently slated to launch in 2027, and promises an entirely original Dragon Ball world shaped by none other than Akira Toriyama himself.

A New Dragon Ball World Designed by Akira Toriyama

AGE 1000 introduces a completely original setting within the Dragon Ball universe, featuring new characters, lore, and adventures created specifically for the project. According to Bandai Namco, this new world will continue to expand over time, with additional characters and story elements revealed as the project develops.

A reveal trailer debuted alongside the announcement, giving fans their first look at AGE 1000’s world and showcasing a never-before-seen character designed by Akira Toriyama. While details remain limited, the trailer confirms that AGE 1000 is not a retelling or remix of existing arcs, but a fresh take that pushes Dragon Ball into unexplored territory.
