Blue Reflection Quartet is launching on July 30, 2026, with Koei Tecmo and Gust bundling the entire Blue Reflection series into a single release for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
This collection pulls together multiple parts of the franchise across games, anime, and mobile, aiming to present the full story in one place. It is a different approach than a standard remaster bundle, with a clear focus on making the series easier to follow while preserving its character-driven structure.
A full series package across multiple formats
Blue Reflection Quartet includes the original Blue Reflection from 2017 and Blue Reflection: Second Light from 2021, alongside the Blue Reflection Ray anime and the now-closed mobile title Blue Reflection Sun. Instead of treating these as separate entries, the collection brings them together as a connected experience.
That matters because the series has always spread its story across different formats. For players who only experienced one part of it, this release fills in those gaps without requiring extra effort to track everything down.
Sun returns in a reworked form
One of the more interesting inclusions is Blue Reflection Sun, which originally ran as a mobile game from 2023 to 2024. In Blue Reflection Quartet, that content has been adapted for consoles and PC.
Rather than a direct port, the story has been reworked so players can explore the school setting more freely and interact with characters in a way that better fits the rest of the series. Combat has also been adjusted, using systems from Second Light to make it feel more consistent with the other entries.
That change is important. Mobile games often do not translate well as-is, so reworking the structure instead of preserving it exactly is the right call.
Expanded characters and added context
Koei Tecmo is also adding eight additional characters from Ray and Sun into Second Light as party members. That helps tie the different parts of the series together more directly, rather than leaving them as separate storylines.
Alongside that, the collection includes a reference database designed to help players keep track of the series. It organizes events chronologically, maps out character relationships, and shows how each part of the franchise connects.
For a series built around emotional arcs and character dynamics, that kind of tool is useful. It gives new players a clearer entry point while also helping returning fans piece together details they may have missed.
A cleaner way to experience Blue Reflection
Blue Reflection Quartet is positioned as the most complete version of the series so far. It also includes quality-of-life updates to make gameplay smoother and more approachable, which should help players who are new to the franchise.
The idea is simple: instead of asking players to jump between different platforms and formats, everything is now in one place. If the transitions between each part feel natural, this could be the best way to experience Blue Reflection as a whole.
