Dead Party Announced for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S

Dead Party has been announced as a new co-op action game coming to Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, with players teaming up to fight off zombies and UFOs using weapons, traps, and music-powered abilities.

Set in the town of Shady Hill on Halloween night, the game supports up to four players as they defend against waves of enemies in a mix of co-op combat and base defense gameplay. A new trailer has also been released alongside the announcement.

Co-op defense against zombies and UFOs

In Dead Party, players must survive as alien ships fill the skies and the dead rise from the ground. Teams will gather resources, hold defensive positions, and use a mix of improvised weapons and special musical attacks to keep enemies at bay.

The game includes both a story-driven campaign and an Arcade Mode, with players taking on a variety of objective-based missions while unlocking new traps, weapons, and tools.

Four modes and four playable characters

Dead Party features four distinct modes. These include Stage Equipment, where players use music to fight back enemies, Antenna, which focuses on activating generators to repel zombies, Skull Cannon, built around collecting skulls to fire at UFOs, and Horde Mode, where players survive increasingly difficult waves for as long as possible.

The game also includes four playable characters, each with their own abilities, equipment, and strengths. Players will be able to unlock gear and perks to customize how each character plays.

Base building, traps, and musical abilities

Players can break down furniture and environmental objects to gather materials, then use those resources to build barricades and strengthen defenses. The game also includes a range of traps and weapons designed to help control incoming enemies and respond to different zombie types.

When situations get out of control, players can turn to the game’s music-based combat system, using guitars and other abilities to push back enemy waves.

Dead Party is available to wishlist now on Steam.
