Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 Announced for 2027

Bandai Namco has officially announced Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3, marking the return of the series 10 years after the previous mainline entry. The game was revealed during Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour 2026 and is set to launch in 2027 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC via Steam.

The new entry introduces players to AGE 1000, a previously unexplored setting in the Dragon Ball universe created by Akira Toriyama. Bandai Namco had teased the game earlier this year, but this latest reveal offered the first broader look at its world and premise.

A New Dragon Ball Setting in AGE 1000

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 will take players to West City, a new setting within AGE 1000. Players will join the Great Saiyan Squad and fight alongside allies as the story begins to unfold.

The game will deliver a story-driven RPG experience built around a new cast of characters and a fresh Dragon Ball setting. While full gameplay details have not yet been shared, the announcement positions Xenoverse 3 as a new direction for the series rather than a return to familiar ground.

A New Chapter for the Xenoverse Series

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 is the first new main entry in the series in a decade. The game will continue the franchise’s custom hero focus, with players choosing the hero they want to become as they move through this new world.

More details on Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 are expected in the coming months. For now, the game is confirmed for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC, with a 2027 release planned.
