Nexon America has launched Global MapleStory’s 21st anniversary event, with the new Maple University celebration now live. The limited-time event turns the milestone into a campus-themed festival packed with progression systems, daily activities, EXP boosts, and anniversary rewards.
The event is available starting today and gives players a new set of ways to earn rewards while taking part in the game’s latest seasonal celebration.
Maple University Brings a New Campus-Themed Event
The centerpiece of the anniversary update is Maple University, which introduces a new campus setting and a collection of event activities tied to school-themed progression. Players can attend Basic and Special Lectures to earn Credits and Campus Points, which can then be exchanged for rewards.
As players move further through the event, they can unlock stronger buffs and gain access to the Rowdy Campus Life skill, which is designed to provide large EXP boosts during gameplay.
EXP Buffs, Monster Voting, and Student IDs
Alongside its lecture system, the event also includes The Monster Election, where players can join a team, collect Lightsticks through mini-games or combat, and vote for their preferred candidate. That activity ties into additional growth benefits during the anniversary event.
Nexon is also adding a more personalized feature through Maple U Student IDs. By visiting Dean Pink Bean and collecting Memories from defeated monsters, players can customize their student ID and unlock rewards tied to that system.
Mini-Games and Exploration Rewards
The anniversary update also includes six mini-games available through the Club Fair, giving players another way to earn EXP and event rewards through milestone progression. Outside of that, players can take part in activities tied to Dimensional Tower exploration and Academic Capture, which offer more buffs and special reward kits.
Nexon is also running Hasty Hunting MAX alongside the event, giving players even more hunting buffs and mission rewards as part of the wider celebration.
Live Now for a Limited Time
The Maple University event is live now in Global MapleStory as part of the game’s 21st anniversary celebration. Players can also log in daily to claim Summer Countdown rewards while the event is active.
With new progression systems, combat bonuses, mini-games, and themed rewards, MapleStory’s latest anniversary update is built as a full-scale celebration of the MMO’s 21 years online.
