MapleStory’s Maplayer One Update Adds Lethe and GMS-Exclusive Quanah on November 11

MapleStory has revealed Maplayer One, its winter update introducing the Magician class Lethe, the Global MapleStory-exclusive Quanah event server, and expanded leveling events. Part 1 runs from November 11 through December 15 and includes Challenger World Season 4, boss encounters, and quality-of-life changes.

The announcement gives players an early look at Lethe’s combat style and the rewards available through Quanah, including a badge that can gain Potential and transfer to your main server.

Lethe Commands Vassals in Battle

Lethe fights by directing others. Using her Dominium, she commands Fel, Vargr, and Dread Knights to attack marked targets and carry out coordinated strikes.

The new Magician awakens from a deep slumber, bringing a combat approach centered on managing her vassals rather than fighting alone. The teaser offers the first look at how those forces work together.

Train as an Inspector in Quanah

Quanah casts players as Inspectors, with progression through the Proving Fields and Battlesim unlocking exclusive skills and equipment upgrades.

Defeating Black Mage awards the Inspector’s Mapae, a badge that grants Potential players can transfer back to their main server. Other advertised rewards include Eternal gear, Special Skill Rings, and Grindstones.

Eligible characters designated for Quanah transfer in Challenger World can move over after reaching Level 260 and completing their sixth Job Advancement.

Challenger World Season 4 also supports progression for up to five characters through passes and missions. Players at Level 270 or higher can challenge the new weekly boss Mayrin, while seasonal boss Kai returns.

Burning Events Accelerate Character Progression

Hyper Burning MAX grants four additional levels for each level a designated character gains. Hyper Blink adds a revised tutorial and a 5,000% additional EXP perk covering Levels 200–259.

Beyond Burning also expands its 1+1 leveling benefit, extending its upper limit from Level 270 to Level 280. Together, the events offer several progression options depending on your character’s current level.

Part 1 additionally promises smoother boss fights, time-saving changes, and easier equipment acquisition and restoration.
