Square Enix has released a new free demo for The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales, the upcoming action RPG from Team Asano. The demo is available now on Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC via Steam, and Xbox on PC.
Progress made in the demo will carry over to the full game when it launches on June 18, 2026.
New Demo Includes Player Feedback Updates
Players who tried the earlier Debut Demo will find several changes based on feedback. Square Enix has increased Elliot’s base movement speed, added a new difficulty level, and included various quality-of-life updates.
The demo lets players begin their journey in Philabieldia before the full release next month.

Physical and digital pre-orders are available now across all platforms. Players who pre-order will receive Elliot’s Departure Pack, which includes the Departure Brooch accessory and Attack Up sword magicite.
A Digital Deluxe Edition includes the Fairy Bangle, Cherry Blossom Anklet, and Roselle Ring accessories. A physical Collector’s Edition is also available through the Square Enix Store, including the base game, original soundtrack, and a desk clock statue featuring Faie.
