Kwalee and Smart Raven Studio have released a new demo for Rune Dice on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. The dice-based roguelike launches on May 19, 2026, for consoles and PC via Steam.
The demo lets players try the game’s mix of roguelike progression, deckbuilding, and physics-based dice combat ahead of release.
Dice Fusion Meets Roguelike Strategy
Rune Dice is built around launching dice across enchanted battlefields, where matching dice can fuse into stronger versions and trigger chain combos. Each throw matters, with placement shaping both immediate damage and future setup.
Players will build runs through dice, relics, and runes, creating synergies that define how each hero fights.
Classes, Bosses, and Builds
The game includes eight hero classes, each with its own dice and magical abilities. Players can spread poison as a Rogue, call down lightning as a Mage, or absorb damage as a Warrior.
Each area ends with boss fights that change the rules of combat, summon minions, or alter the dice field, forcing players to adapt their build and tactics.
Launching May 19
