Silent Planet: Elegy of a Dying World Gets Extended Trailer

Vertex Zero and Red Dunes Games have released an extended trailer for Silent Planet: Elegy of a Dying World, offering a new look at the sci-fi adventure’s environments, story, and cosmic horror atmosphere.

The new footage expands on the game’s vision of a dying future, with a closer look at its ruined alien world and mysterious narrative.

A Gothic Sci-Fi Metroidvania

Set in the year 2997, Silent Planet: Elegy of a Dying World follows Apranik, a lone traveler searching a distant planet for an ancient artifact believed to be tied to the origin of life.

The game blends atmospheric exploration, deep progression systems, psychokinetic combat, and lore-driven storytelling as players investigate forbidden secrets hidden across a world that should no longer exist.

A Dying World Full of Secrets

Silent Planet leans into gothic sci-fi and cosmic horror, sending players through decaying environments shaped by a fading future. The game is currently in development by Quebec-based studio Vertex Zero.
