Beastfolk Barber Revealed, Blending Haircuts With Heartfelt Narrative Choices

Safe Flight Games and Sigono have revealed Beastfolk Barber, a narrative barbershop game where every haircut leads to a personal conversation.

Set in a city of beastfolk, the game puts players behind the chair of a small barbershop, meeting customers who are ready to change how they look and, in some cases, how they see themselves.

Haircuts, Conversation, and Identity

Beastfolk Barber centers on the intimate ritual of giving someone a new look.

Players cut and style hair while listening to customers share stories about identity, prejudice, social pressure, and the parts of themselves they choose to show or hide.

The setup brings to mind narrative games like Coffee Talk and VA-11 Hall-A, but with more hands-on interaction as players shape each customer’s appearance.

Each customer brings their own personality, concerns, and reason for sitting in the chair.

Some may want a practical cut. Others may be looking for a way to express something they have kept buried. Through conversation and styling choices, players help them take a step toward who they want to become.
