Opus: Prism Peak has received a new trailer ahead of its launch on April 16, 2026, for PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2.
Released by Shueisha Games and Sigono, the new video offers another look at the game’s painterly visual style and story-driven photography adventure as players prepare to step into its surreal world next week.
A photo adventure set in the Dusklands
In Opus: Prism Peak, players follow Eugene, a 40-year-old former photojournalist who is pulled into a strange realm known as the Dusklands. Described as a quiet world shaped by fading light, lingering memories, and unspoken sorrow, the setting forms the backdrop for the game’s atmospheric narrative.
Armed with a camera he had long left behind, Eugene begins a journey through this fragile world alongside a mysterious young girl. As the two travel together, players will capture moments through photography and uncover the stories hidden across the Dusklands.
New trailer highlights art style and tone
The latest trailer focuses on Opus: Prism Peak’s visual presentation and emotional tone, showing off more of the game’s hand-painted look and reflective storytelling.
The trailer also reinforces photography as a central part of the experience, with Eugene’s camera acting as both a tool for observation and a way of connecting with the world around him.
