Ratatan has been delayed to October 15, 2026, developer Ratata Arts and publisher Game Source Entertainment have announced. The rhythm roguelike action game was pushed back as the team continues work on multiplayer stability, bug fixes, and final platform adjustments.
The delay follows feedback gathered from the Steam Early Access version, with the team saying the extra time will be used to improve the launch experience across supported platforms.
More Time for Fixes
Ratata Arts is focusing on multiplayer performance and bugs reported by Early Access players. The team is also making final adjustments across other platforms before the full launch.
While delays are always frustrating, this one seems aimed at making sure Ratatan reaches players in a more stable state, especially given how important multiplayer is to the game’s rhythm-based action.
Pre-Order Compensation
Players who already placed an initial pre-order will receive Deluxe bonus content DLC codes as compensation. These include the Cobun Set, Equipment & Accessories Set, and Supply Set.
The Cobun Set includes eight Cobun, while the Equipment & Accessories Set includes eight special weapons and one accessory. The bonus content is also included in the Digital Deluxe Edition.
The publisher noted that these Deluxe Edition DLC codes will only be available to players with an existing pre-order.
New Release Date
Ratatan will now launch on October 15, 2026. The team apologized to players waiting for the game and thanked fans for their support and patience as development continues.
