Koei Tecmo and Omega Force have announced that Attack on Titan 3 will launch this winter for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
The latest entry in Omega Force’s action series will cover the story of Attack on Titan from the Scout Regiment’s early battles to its conclusion. A new trailer was also released, showing enhanced Titan combat, squad-based action, and the newly revealed Exterior Scouting Missions.
The Final Titan Showdown
Attack on Titan 3 puts players in the role of a Scout Regiment member fighting alongside familiar characters from the series. Each Scout has their own skills, letting players build a squad around different strengths and signature abilities.
Combat once again centers on omnidirectional mobility gear, with players launching through the air to strike Titans at high speed. This time, Titans will have new attacks and behaviors, making battles more dangerous than before.
A new Casual Mode will also be included for players who want a more approachable way to experience the full human-versus-Titan story.

Exterior Scouting Missions Revealed
One of the biggest additions in Attack on Titan 3 is Exterior Scouting Missions, which let players explore beyond the walls.
These missions include building supply bases, managing ODM fuel and blades, fighting Titans, and expanding humanity’s reach into hostile territory. Players will also need to manage squad morale while deciding when to press forward or retreat.
That structure adds more tension to expeditions, as pushing too far can lead to serious injury or death.

MAPPA Produces the Opening Animation
Koei Tecmo also confirmed that Mappa, the studio behind Attack on Titan: The Final Season, will produce the game’s opening animation.
Arifumi Imai, known for action animation, storyboarding, and key animation work on the anime, will return as director for the opening.

Coming This Winter
Attack on Titan 3 is scheduled to release this winter for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
The game will feature Japanese voice acting with English, French, Italian, German, and Spanish text support.
