NIS America has announced that the Brigandine Abyss demo will launch on July 30 for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The strategy RPG demo is already available on Steam, where it now supports 60 FPS.
The demo lets players try the first two seasons of the Gran Dragnica and Scarlet Will story campaigns before the full game arrives on consoles and PC in August. Save data from the demo will not carry over to the full release.
Two Campaigns to Try
The Gran Dragnica campaign follows Largo as he investigates what is turning dragons into tools of evil. The Scarlet Will campaign follows Garnet and her company as they stand against the Abyssloa Empire.
Players will recruit monsters, send troops on quests, manage resources, and plan attacks during the Organization Phase before moving into hex-based tactical battles during the Invasion Phase.
Strategy Across Six Stories
Brigandine Abyss is a new entry in the long-running strategy series, set hundreds of years after the Abyssloa Empire was stopped by the arcane Brigandine. Now, a new empire has risen, and players must fight back across six story campaigns.
The game also includes Mission Mode, where players can choose from 24 factions, each with its own win condition. Across both campaign and Mission Mode, battles move through Organization, Attack, and Invasion phases, with army growth, elemental attributes, monster bonds, and positioning all playing major roles.
