Nexon America has opened registration for Global MapleStory Classic World Closed Online Test #2. The next test will run from August 4-12, giving players another early look at the modernized version of the original MapleStory.
Registration is open now through July 29 on the MapleStory website. Players who take part will receive access instructions by email before the test begins, with no beta key required.
New Content and Platform Support
Closed Online Test #2 builds on feedback from the first test and adds several new features.
Players can try 3rd Job Advancement, visit Ossyria areas including Orbis and El Nath, and use controller support with customizable layouts. The test also adds macOS support and multiple language options.
Classic MapleStory With Modern Updates
Global MapleStory Classic World brings back the early MapleStory experience with gameplay changes, balance updates, and quality-of-life improvements.
Nexon is using the closed tests to refine that mix before the full launch.
Everyone Needs to Register Again
Players who joined the first Closed Online Test still need to register again for Closed Online Test #2.
Participants can also earn exclusive in-game rewards by completing event milestones. Players who finish the required quests across both tests will unlock Classic Beginnings Label Rings and Chat Rings to claim when Global MapleStory Classic World officially launches.
