Prinny Party: Going Overboard! Trailer Unveils Disgaea Party Game

Ahead of the release of Disgaea Mayhem, NIS Group has revealed Prinny Party: Going Overboard! — another upcoming spin-off based on the wild strategy RPG series.

The upcoming party game tasks players with maneuvering around a board as they aim to take out the Supreme Overboard and his Protago-Knights. To do this, they’ll have to gain experience and powerful equipment whilst taking on quests to get strong enough to take on bosses as they spawn. That being said, only one person can get the credit for bringing the boss back to the spawn point, meaning competition will be just as big a part of the game.

Classic Disgaea gameplay features like the Assembly and Picking-Up/Throwing others are part of Prinny Party: Going Overboard! as well, so series fans will likely feel plenty at home. At the moment, the release date window for the game is set for “later this year.”

How many people can you play Prinny Party: Going Overboard! with?

Four people can play Prinny Party: Going Overboard! together, but if that weren’t enough for you, it can be played online with up to three friends using only one copy. Through the Nintendo Switch 2’s Game Share function or Steam’s Remote Play Together feature, four friends can play using only one copy, allowing for more flexible multiplayer capability.
