NIS America and Furyu Corporation have announced Anomalith Launch Edition, a survival horror action game coming to PlayStation 5 on November 12.
The physical Launch Edition will cost $59.99 and include bonus missions, outfits, weapons, skins, and consumable item sets.
Japan Falls Into the Otherworlds
Anomalith is set in a Japan overrun by spatial anomalies called Otherworlds.
Players take on the role of Reona Minazuki, an investigator who wakes from a 10-year slumber inside an anomaly called the “Sarcophogus.” After gaining heightened sensitivity to the Otherworlds, Reona works with the Danger Zone Countermeasures Office to protect humanity and help a close friend.
Survival Horror With Gunplay and Melee
Anomalith mixes third-person shooting, melee attacks, resource management, and anomaly-based abilities.
Enemies act erratically, forcing players to track ammo, inventory space, and positioning. Stunned enemies can be finished with melee attacks, while Reona can gain active and passive skills through the Demi-Humanization System.
The Otherworlds will also twist familiar spaces, including an apartment with inverted gravity and a never-ending train.
Outfits, Weapons, and Reports
Players can customize Reona’s equipment and appearance across weapons, attachments, artifacts, and more than 300 outfit items.
Between missions, Reona can meet characters at her home base, open upgrades, and learn more about the threat. Players can also collect more than 200 investigation reports tied to anomalies and foreign objects.
Launch Edition Bonuses
The Anomalith Launch Edition includes the “Lost Property Control Organization” collab mission, plus the T-6407 J drone skin.
It also includes the “Armed Schoolgirl” outfit triple combo, “Delivery Staff” outfit, Development Material Set, Anomaly Zone Countermeasures Office Set, 20 handgun ammo, Semi-Automatic Sniper Rifle, Double-Barreled Shotgun, and Prototype Handgun.
Creative Team Revealed
Anomalith features Scenario Lead Romeo Tanaka, Character Designer MON, and Composer Yuka Kitamura.
Winning Entertainment Group, formerly Natsume Atari, developed the game, and the ESRB rated it T for Teen.
