Winter Crew Studios has announced that Fallen Tear: The Ascension will leave Early Access and launch its 1.0 version on Steam on September 16, 2026.
The hand-drawn search-action RPG will cost $24.99, with a 10% launch discount available for 14 days after release.
Hira’s Story Reaches Its Ending
Set in the land of Raoah, Fallen Tear: The Ascension follows Hira, a mysterious child fated to stand against ancient gods.
The game mixes JRPG-inspired storytelling, full voice acting, hand-drawn animation, and fast combat built around slashing, parrying, dodging, and switching tactics during fights.
1.0 Adds New Regions, Bosses, and Bonds
The Early Access version launched in March 2026 with 10 interconnected regions, 6 main bosses, 3 optional bosses, and 10 Fated Bonds across the game’s opening act.
The 1.0 launch roughly doubles that content with 10 more major regions, 5 new main bosses, 19 new optional side bosses, and 11 new Fated Bonds.
Fated Bonds are allies who give Hira new combat and traversal abilities, changing how players fight and explore Raoah.
More Skills and Multiple Endings
Hira’s progression will also expand in the full release.
The 1.0 version adds 3 Ascensions, 6 Hunter Skills, 4 Elemental Imbuements, and 16 Mastery Skills across Tier III and Tier IV. Winter Crew Studios says the full launch includes complete combat, progression, and exploration systems.
Players can also shape Hira’s fate through bonds and choices, leading to several possible endings.
Launch Content and Language Support
Fallen Tear: The Ascension will offer around 35-40 hours of story content, with more than 80 hours for completion-focused players.
The game launches with full English audio and text support for English, German, Brazilian Portuguese, and Simplified Chinese. Support for Spanish, French, Italian, Turkish, Korean, and Japanese text will arrive after launch.
