Cold Iron has announced an update for Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 on Nintendo Switch 2, with the native version now planned for early 2027.
The extra development time will go toward tuning the game for the hardware.

Cold Iron says the additional time will help the team deliver a version better suited to the system.

The studio says it remains focused on tuning Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 across every platform while work on the Switch 2 edition continues.
