The Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 release date has been revealed by Daybreak Game Company, and excited fans won’t have to wait too long to get their hands on the sequel.
Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 is set to be released for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store on August 25, placing it right before the absolutely stacked September arrives. The regular version of the game will cost $49.99, while the 40th Anniversary Premium Edition will cost $69.99.
Included in the 40th Anniversary Premium Edition is both the base game and the Ripley’s Hive Exterminator Pack and Herk Mondo’s Pest Pack, which can also be purchased as an upgrade for the standard edition for $19.99. These two DLC packs include:
Ripley’s Hive Exterminator Pack:
- Cosmetic outfit based on iconic Alien franchise protagonist Ellen Ripley
- Ripley’s modified pulse rifle
- exclusive decals and more
Herk Mondo’s Pest Pack:
- Cosmetic outfit based on Alien: Colonial Marines comic protagonist Herk Mondo.
- Herk Mondo’s massive, modified pulse rifle
- exclusive decals and more
Finally, a standalone DLC pack called Rain’s Jackson’s Star Pack will be available at launch for $9.99. It comes with an outfit based on Alien: Romulus protagonist Rain Carradine, as well as her specially modified pulse rifle.
