Spike Chunsoft has announced that Danganronpa 2×2 will launch on January 14, 2027, in North America and Europe.
The high-speed deductive action game is coming to Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
Slayhem Mode Takes the Spotlight
The new introduction trailer shows Slayhem Mode, one of two modes available in Danganronpa 2×2 from the start.
Slayhem Mode features a new scenario based on Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair, but with a completely different storyline.
Original Mode Also Included
Players can also choose Original Mode.
This mode retells the 2012 release of Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair with enhanced visuals and an updated presentation for modern platforms.
Psycho Tropical Vacation Package
Pre-orders are open now for the Danganronpa 2×2 Psycho Tropical Vacation Package.
The limited edition includes the game, a Rsvlts Reversible Psycho Tropical Hat, Kidrobot 3-inch Psycho Tropical Monokuma and Monomi figures, the Danganronpa 2×2 soundtrack, and a clamshell-style outer box.
Players can choose a physical edition for Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, or PlayStation 5, or a printed card with a Steam key. The Steam version is exclusive to the Spike Chunsoft Official Store.
Store Bonus and Standard Edition
Fans who pre-order the Psycho Tropical Vacation Package from the Spike Chunsoft Official Store will receive an exclusive Flight Tag keychain.
Standard Edition pre-orders are also available for Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 5 physical editions.
