Dotemu and developer Triskell Interactive have announced that Theos: Cities of Myth will launch on November 4 for PC via Steam.
The city-building and management game sends players to ancient Greece, where they can design settlements, appease Greek gods, attract prominent historical figures, and raise armies against neighboring cities.
Keep Seven Greek Gods Happy
Seven Greek deities play a major role in how players manage their cities.
Residents can honor gods such as Ares and Athena, earning blessings and other benefits by meeting their demands. Ignoring those demands can draw their wrath instead.
Cities can also attract notable figures from Greek history, including Aristotle, who provide their own benefits to a settlement.
Build Through Adventures or Sandbox Mode
Theos: Cities of Myth includes structured adventures alongside a customizable sandbox mode.
Players will manage their settlements using building tools based on systems Triskell Interactive previously developed for Pharaoh: A New Era.
The studio says it has also reworked the interface and several city-building conventions to make planning easier for newcomers while retaining deeper management options.
Build an Army or Conquer Your Neighbors
Managing a city extends beyond construction and resources.
Players can assemble armies to defend their population from rival settlements or attack neighboring cities themselves.
These conflicts play out through real-time battles, adding military expansion to the economic and civic management systems.
Theos: Cities of Myth Arrives in November
Theos: Cities of Myth features temples, large representations of Greek deities, residential streets, greenery, and other architecture inspired by ancient Greece.
Theos: Cities of Myth launches November 4, 2026, for PC via Steam.
