Acornia: Mirror Worlds has released a new trailer showcasing its mix of dungeon crawling, patisserie management, baking, and farming. Developer Splashteam, the studio behind Tinykin, and publisher Dotemu shared the footage ahead of the game’s planned 2027 release.
The action-adventure is coming to PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2. You play as Alva, a patisserie shopkeeper trying to save her village from a corruption that has driven away its residents and pulled parts of her home into another dimension.
Keep the Patisserie Running While Saving the Village
Alva’s home was once carefree, but the spreading corruption has disrupted village life. Residents have left, and sections of the village now sit within a dangerous alternate dimension called Duramen.
Alva takes responsibility for addressing the threat while continuing her work as a shopkeeper. That puts the patisserie alongside the adventure rather than leaving it as background scenery: managing the shop, preparing baked goods, and farming are all part of the game.
The trailer gives another look at those activities, showing the quieter side of Alva’s responsibilities alongside her trips into danger. Her role requires attention to both the business she runs and the home she wants to restore.
Your Baked Goods Have Uses Beyond the Shop
The dungeon-crawling side of Acornia: Mirror Worlds sends Alva into the dangers connected to Duramen. The treats she prepares have a purpose there, too.
Cupcakes can serve as projectiles, bringing the patisserie theme directly into combat. That detail connects the game’s baking and action systems: something made in the kitchen can become a tool for dealing with threats outside it.
Splashteam and Dotemu describe the game as a dungeon crawler paired with action-adventure shop management. The latest footage puts those elements together, offering a clearer look at how Alva’s everyday work sits beside her effort to stop the corruption.
Coming to PC and Consoles in 2027
Acornia: Mirror Worlds is scheduled for 2027 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC. A specific release date has not been announced.
You can wishlist the game on Steam ahead of launch.
