Kick launches November 3, 2026, on Steam, bringing soccer skills to a cozy, childhood-themed side-scrolling adventure. Solo developer nospacelost and publisher Shoreline Games confirmed the date with a new trailer during the Convergence Showcase.
You play as The Kid, kicking a ball through Japanese-inspired streets, beaches, parks, and underpasses as you race to school before the bell.
Soccer Skills Meet the Race to School
Across 23 levels, you’ll kick, jump, and run past hazards, practice your ball skills, catch trains, and take shortcuts to save time.
Soccer challenges give you reasons to experiment with the ball. Collecting coins also lets you earn ball skins and flags to display in-game.
Optional Timers Let You Slow Down
Select levels challenge you to beat the clock, adding pressure to your trip through the neighborhood. If you prefer a quieter pace, you can disable the timers.
According to nospacelost, Kick focuses on the small, overlooked moments of childhood. Its school-day setup pairs those familiar routines with playful ball control and exploration.
Kick launches on Steam November 3, following appearances at IGN Live and an earlier playable demo during Steam Next Fest.
