Nivalis Nights Launches September 29 on Steam

505 Games and Ion Lands have announced that Nivalis Nights will launch on Steam on September 29, 2026. The cyberpunk life sim, formerly known as Nivalis, comes from the team behind Cloudpunk and will later release on the Epic Games Store.

Set in the same neon-lit city as Cloudpunk, Nivalis Nights lets players build a life as Ava, exploring the city, running businesses, meeting locals, and shaping a future above the clouds.

Life in the City of Nivalis

Nivalis Nights blends a cozy life-sim structure with cyberpunk city living. Players can spend their days fishing, decorating their home, exploring by foot or boat, and meeting the people who live across the city’s districts, channels, and backstreets.

The game also puts a major focus on business management. Players can start with a small noodle stand or bar before growing into larger restaurants, nightclubs, and other ventures.

Build a Business From the Ground Up

Running a business in Nivalis Nights means sourcing ingredients, managing growth, and deciding how your enterprise fits into the city. Players can buy items from marketplaces, grow ingredients, or fish for their own supplies.

Outside of work, players can buy and customize homes, meet potential friends and romantic partners, and follow the stories of the city’s residents.

Five Years in the Making

Ion Lands Creative Director Marko Dieckmann said the team faced new development challenges while working on Nivalis Nights and thanked players for their patience since the game’s 2021 reveal.

505 Games President Neil Ralley also said the publisher has been excited to see the project come together and looks forward to players finally entering the city.
