NIS America has released a demo for Disgaea Mayhem, giving players an early look at the action RPG spinoff before it launches on July 23 for Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Steam.
The demo is available now across all launch platforms and lets players try three stages filled with enemies, boss fights, and every weapon type featured in the full release.
Try All Seven Weapons
The Disgaea Mayhem demo gives players access to all seven weapon types, including swords, bows, axes, guns, and fists. Each weapon changes how N.A. fights, letting players test different playstyles before launch.
Each of the demo’s three stages includes large enemy groups and a boss battle, offering a quick sense of how the series’ usual number-chasing RPG systems translate into real-time action.
Disgaea Goes Action RPG
Disgaea Mayhem puts players in direct control of N.A., a mercenary working for Princess Tichelle, who needs someone to help satisfy her craving for flan.
The game keeps familiar Disgaea ideas like grinding, Item World upgrades, reincarnation, equipment improvement, Prinnies, and absurd damage numbers, but shifts the combat to a faster action-RPG format.
Players can also pass bills at the Dark Chocolate Assembly, recruit classic demons, and push their stats higher in true Disgaea fashion.
Limited Edition Available
The Disgaea Mayhem Limited Edition is available to pre-order for $99.99 while supplies last. It includes the base game, collector’s box, The Art of Mayhem artbook, Hellscape original soundtrack, N.A. and Tichelle acrylic stand, and The Flan Fanatic acrylic keychain.
