Lost in Tandem Out Now on Steam With Hand-Drawn Couch Co-op Puzzles

Tempete Studio has launched Lost in Tandem on Steam for $14.99, with a 10% launch discount available for one week. The hand-painted 2D puzzle adventure follows a young girl and a defective Mech-ute robot as they work together across a post-apocalyptic setting.

The game supports solo play through character switching, though it was designed with couch co-op in mind. Players can also use Steam Remote Play Together for online local-style co-op.

A Girl and a Robot Team Up

Lost in Tandem centers on two unlikely partners: a young girl and a lost Mech-ute robot trying to complete its mission.

Across five chapters, players explore different biomes, solve puzzles, gain new abilities, and collect relics from the past. Some collectibles add lore, while others can be used as stickers to decorate the Mech-ute.

The game uses a relaxed pace, with puzzles tied to exploration and cooperation rather than speed or pressure.

Players will swap between the girl and the Mech-ute to move through each area, using upgrades and new tools to reach more places and solve tougher challenges.

Hand-Painted Art From Tempete Studio

Tempete Studio created Lost in Tandem with traditional art techniques, hand-painting and animating its environments and characters.

The studio also notes that the game was made by human artists and developers, with no AI art involved.
