EverQuest Legends Launches Today as a Solo-Friendly Take on Classic EverQuest

Daybreak Games and Game Jawn have launched EverQuest Legends, a casual, solo-friendly version of the 1999 MMORPG EverQuest. The PC release goes live today at 12 PM Pacific through the EverQuest Legends website.

Built with a more flexible structure, EverQuest Legends lets players explore Norrath solo, in four-player groups, or in raids of up to eight players.

A New Way to Play Classic EverQuest

EverQuest Legends keeps the look and feel of the original EverQuest while adding modern systems and quality-of-life updates.

Players can build stronger, more flexible characters by selecting up to three active classes per character. As they level up and improve gear, they can take on tougher content alone or with friends.

The launch version includes Antonica, Faydwer, and Odus in a pre-Kunark setup.

All EverQuest playable races are included, such as Iksar, Frogloks, and Kerran. Players can also expect classic graphics, zones, spell effects, loot, music, and some new additions.

Monthly Updates Planned

EverQuest Legends will operate as a live-service game with a monthly subscription model.

Daybreak Games plans regular monthly content updates, including Deity Achievements, the Rujarkian Hills open zone, the Nektropos Castle mini-expansion, and more.

EverQuest Legends is available today for PC.
