Scarlet Moon has released the Mahou Arms OST across major music platforms, marking the full soundtrack launch for Dischan Media and Sekai Project’s anime-inspired character-action game.
Composed by Dale North, the soundtrack has been in development for six years and arrives alongside Mahou Arms as it leaves Early Access with its 1.0 launch.
Distortion Leads the Release
The album includes the new vocal theme “Distortion,” featuring Pernelle, whose credits include Stellar Blade, Nikke: Goddess of Victory, and Philosophie du Soi.
“Distortion” appears in Mahou Arms’ opening sequence and serves as the headline track for the soundtrack release.
21 Tracks From Dale North
The Mahou Arms Original Game Soundtrack includes 21 tracks centered on GARDA, a magical-girl paramilitary force fighting an alien invasion.
The score covers action-heavy combat tracks, quieter character moments, and sci-fi set pieces, with Dale North’s melodic style tying the album together.
Steam Digital Deluxe Edition Available
The soundtrack is also available in the Mahou Arms Digital Deluxe Edition on Steam, which is bundled with the game.
The Mahou Arms development team praised North and Scarlet Moon’s work, calling out “Distortion” as a standout part of the release.
