The extended trailer features new gameplay and reveals the game’s main story for the first time.
This latest look centers on protagonist Soul and the Kungfupunk setting of Phantom Blade Zero, showing more of the tone, combat flow, and larger conflict driving the action.
Donnie Yen Joins the Project
S-Game also revealed its collaboration with Donnie Yen.
Since 2023, Yen has served as a Creative Consultant on Phantom Blade Zero, bringing his martial arts and action-film experience to the game’s combat and action design.
Mó Yuan Gets Motion Capture From Yen
In addition to his consulting role, Yen serves as the facial and motion-capture actor for Mó Yuan.
That should give the character a direct connection to Yen’s physical performance style, which fits Phantom Blade Zero’s focus on fast kung fu action.
