MBC Game Studio has released a new animated lore trailer for 1001 Threads of Mizan, the Arabian fantasy action-adventure recently revealed at gamescom.
The trailer features Shahrazad telling the tale of the Fisherman and the King, giving players more background on the game’s story.
Shahrazad Sets the Stage
1001 Threads of Mizan draws from One Thousand and One Nights, with Shahrazad serving as the famed Storyweaver guiding its heroes.
The story follows Yusra, Malik, and Sufyan, three unlikely allies searching for the lost power of the Mizan while facing an ancient jinn king bent on vengeance.
Co-Op Built Around Three Heroes
The game supports drop-in, drop-out co-op for up to three players.
Friends can team up as the heroes, fly across the skies on carpets, and battle colossal jinn bosses together. The flying carpet system plays a major role in traversal, combat, and the game’s sense of speed.
Built by MBC Game Studio
1001 Threads of Mizan is developed and published by MBC Game Studio.
The team includes developers with experience at BioWare, Hi-Rez, Ubisoft Montréal, and Bungie.
Coming to PC and Consoles
1001 Threads of Mizan is planned for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC.
A release date has not been announced.
