Sega and Gptrack50 have released the Stupid Never Dies: First Bite Demo on PlayStation 5 and Steam.
Announced during PlayStation’s State of Play Showcase, the demo covers the first two hours of the pop-punk action RPG and supports save data carryover into the full game.
Davy Takes on the Apocalypse
Stupid Never Dies follows Davy, a timid zombie sitting at the bottom of monster society.
Davy heads into a monster-ruled dungeon to defeat KOM, the King of Monsters, stop the apocalypse, and bring Julia, a frozen human girl, back to life.
First Bite Demo Details
The demo includes the game’s opening cutscene and an early look at its “Blazing Fast Growth” combat.
Players will try three core systems:
- Style Eat: Davy devours enemy cores to steal abilities and change form.
- Body Hack: Davy uses Over-Technology from monsters to upgrade his arms, head, and legs through Acelino.
- Davy Burst: Repeated attacks fill a burst meter, giving Davy a full stat surge once the right conditions are met.
Bosses and New Characters
The First Bite Demo includes two bosses: Afreet and Phoenix Zaza Hotfeathers.
Gptrack50 also released a third trailer that introduces Everent and KOM’s Four Generals: Surtr R.S., Dragul, Takiyasha-Hime, and Wolfgang.
