Studio Daimon has announced that Food Devils will launch on November 5 on Steam, with console versions planned for a later date.
The tactical RPG roguelite puts players in the role of the last chef in a post-apocalyptic setting, using monstrous meals to attract adventurers and send them out on ingredient-hunting expeditions.
Contracts, Combat, and Cooking
Food Devils mixes roguelite structure with tactical RPG battles and restaurant growth.
Players will recruit adventurers, convince them to sign contracts with Food Devils, and build parties around class roles, skills, and mobility boosts. Those expeditions bring back ingredients that can turn into new dishes for the restaurant.
Restaurant Management Between Runs
Between fights, players can customize their restaurant to attract more adventurers.
Each adventurer comes with randomized looks and stats, while every Food Devil has been handcrafted. That gives each run a different lineup while keeping the main cast of devils more defined.
Romance Is on the Menu
Food Devils also includes romance options.
Players can pursue Food Devils themselves or pair two Food Devils together, adding a relationship layer to the buildcrafting and party strategy.
Four Biomes to Explore
The game will feature four distinct biomes, each with its own monsters, loot, and rare ingredients.
Between expeditions, players can also learn more about the Food Devils, piece together their secrets, and figure out what they really want.
Coming to Steam First
Food Devils launches November 5 on Steam.
Studio Daimon says console versions are coming soon.
