The release of Valve’s Left 4 Dead has been delayed to November 18th. A European release is expected for November 21st. Originally, the title was scheduled for a release on November 4th on PC and Xbox 360. No reason was given for the delay though the crowded release season – Gears of War 2 (November 7th) – can be speculated as a factor.
“Left 4 Dead is going to be released on the tenth anniversary of Half-Life, our first game.”
“That will be on November 20th, the third week in November.”
– Gabe Newell, Valve Co-Founder
