Final Fantasy XIII Demo To Have Multiple Playable Characters

IGN has recently posted details about the upcoming Final Fantasy XIII demo to be included with the Blu-Ray release of Advent Children: Complete.

The game’s director, Motomu Toriyama, states that the demo could exceed a span of two hours. In addition, he remarked that the demo will be similar to the FFVII demo for the PS1 where players will experience the game’s opening sequence and prologue.

The demo, Toriyama stated, will give players the opportunity to try out the new party system – effective by playing multiple characters. Players will be able to control more than one character and in fact there is no one “central” character. In classic Final Fantasy tradition, the demo will feature turn-based combat.
