Fable II Knothole Island DLC Now Available

Fans of Lionhead Studio’s Fable II would be delighted to know, or already know that the Knothole Island DLC is now available on the Xbox Live Marketplace for 800 MS points.

The content contains new achievements, a brand new island to explore, and a special Resurrection shrine.

For clarification on the free download of Knothole Island available on Xbox Live Marketplace: The download will only allow players without the DLC to play co-op with players that have purchased it. And no you cannot download the free DLC and expect to play the new content with someone who purchased it. You can still play co-op together but you have to purchase the Knothole Island DLC in order to visit the island together.

However, we have recieved word that the free DLC does include new content that you can obtain from Gordon the Submariner in the Bowerstone Market Docks.

I’m playing it, and liking it. It isn’t fantastic with a great plot from what I can see, but if you own the game still and don’t mind spending $10 for a few extra quests, lot’s of items, etc then it’s fun. But by no means is it equivalent to the main story.
