A new trailer for Life is Strange: Double Exposure shown at Gamescom provides a deep-dive into the powers you’ll use in this upcoming sequel. When her friend Safi is murdered, Max Caulfield discovers her power has evolved into something new. This power comes in two forms: Pulse and Shift. Pulse allows her to peer into the second timeline and see echoes of things occurring there, while Shift lets her push through to the other timeline at areas where the veil between them is weak.
From gathering information to taking items from one timeline to another, the trailer provides a showcase of gameplay and some of the changes between timelines.
Life is Strange: Double Exposure will be out on October 29 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, with a Nintendo Switch release to follow at a later date. Standard, Deluxe, and Ultimate Editions will all be available.
