Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii Moved Up to February 21

Last month, RGG Studio revealed Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC, set to be released on February 28, 2025. Today it received a new trailer as part of the Xbox Partner Preview, with an updated release date of February 21.

The new trailer also shows more of the story and combat in this upcoming Majima-focused game, as well as a special emphasis on the new naval gameplay. The new trailer not only shows customization options that let you change the ship’s hull, sails, figurehead, and trimming, but also reveals that the player will control the ship and engage in naval combat against enemy vessels. Naval combat also has its own section in the Pirates’ Coliseum.

Additional details about Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii can also be found at the Xbox Wire post about the game, with sections on naval combat, the regular brawler combat, and how the new areas compare to those of Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name.
