Elden Ring Nightreign Announced: A Standalone Co-Op Survival Adventure

Elden Ring returned at The Game Awards, but in a new form. Bandai Namco has announced Elden Ring Nightreign, a standalone co-op survival action game. Players will team up in groups of three and fight to survive a cycle of three days and nights, during which time they must explore to grow strong enough to fight the bosses at the end of each day. With eight playable characters to choose from and an ever-changing map, it will be a new challenge in a parallel Elden Ring universe.

It is in development for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

With new weapons to find, Runes, and Sites of Grace at which players will level up, each run is described as being equivalent to an open-air dungeon. Elden Ring Nightreign is planned for 2025.
