Fomography, a Narrative Photography Adventure, Launches on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series

Dangen Entertainment and solo developer Brendan Keesing have officially launched Fomography, a narrative photography adventure that blends introspection, exploration, and emotional storytelling. The game is available now for PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S for $19.99.

A new launch trailer offers a final preview of the journey, showcasing the game’s thoughtful world and its central mechanic: capturing the past through the lens of memory.

Fomography Frames a Journey Through Memory

In Fomography, players assume the role of an elderly man navigating memory loss by revisiting his childhood through the lens of his old camera. Each photograph taken becomes a breadcrumb in unraveling the story of his life, both the cherished memories and the moments he tried to forget.

Set across richly detailed environments inspired by Australia—including forests, cave systems, and bustling towns—Fomography is equal parts adventure and reflection. Players interact with characters from the protagonist’s past, fulfilling quests that often require a keen photographic eye and an empathetic ear.

A Solo Developer’s Deeply Personal Vision

Brendan Keesing, the game’s solo developer, created Fomography to explore philosophical ideas through unconventional gameplay. To manage the project, Keesing joked that he adopted different personas for each discipline:

“Programmer Brendan works on weekends. Artist Brendan works Monday–Thursday. Designer Brendan works Fridays. And Composer Brendan comes in on a contractual basis.”

The result is a game with a distinct tone and unified vision—an emotional, memory-driven experience that feels handcrafted in every frame.
