Resident Evil Requiem Brings Series Back to Raccoon City in 2026

Capcom has officially announced the ninth mainline Resident Evil game. Revealed at Summer Game Fest, Resident Evil Requiem promises higher realism and immersion than ever before, along with a return to Raccoon City. It will feature both psychological horror and “pulse-pounding action” to bring the series to new heights.

Along with the reveal, Capcom also announced the release date. Resident Evil Requiem will be out on February 27, 2026 for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. It also will be playable at Gamescom later this year.
