Announced at KONAMI’s PRESS START direct this morning, Edens Zero, KONAMI’s latest Action RPG based on the manga and anime series, is receiving a demo on all available platforms today.
Edens Zero, a manga that ran on Shonen Jump from 2018 – 2024 and had an anime run from 2021 – 2023, is getting an action RPG based around it. This isn’t the first time Hiro Mashima’s work will be featured in video game form, as KOEI TECMO has a series of RPGs based off of Fairy Tail. However, while the artistic style remains the same, hopefully, Edens Zero is a little more robust than the last Fairy Tail game.
Edens Zero will be an action RPG taking place throughout the original story, expanded with lots of game-exclusive content and quests. The game’s Steam page also boasts over 700 types of equippable items to customize the characters’ appearances without changing their stats.
Edens Zero is set to release on July 15th, 2025, on PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. A demo is available for all platforms. Stay tuned to MonsterVine for ongoing coverage of KONAMI, Action RPGs, and Edens Zero.
