Jet Set Radio Celebrates 25 Years with LA Art & Music Takeover

Jet Set Radio is grinding into its 25th anniversary in style. SEGA has teamed up with LA-based art collective Brain Dead Studios and music platform NTS to host a week-long celebration of the genre-defining Dreamcast classic from June 13 to June 20 in Los Angeles.

The event, which will be held at Brain Dead Studios (611 N Fairfax Ave, Los Angeles, CA), fuses gaming, fashion, music, and visual art—all pillars of Jet Set Radio’s DNA—into a dynamic cultural tribute.

The event also features exclusive merchandise drops—including JSR-themed gear from Brain Dead and a limited-run skate collab with Them Skates. All custom art, sound, and style are designed to reflect the iconic graffiti-laced, cel-shaded aesthetic that defined and its anti-establishment energy.

A custom-built pirate radio DJ booth will broadcast live sets by DJ Professor K, uploaded to NTS for global fans to enjoy on demand.

Whether you’re in it for the nostalgia or the underground street culture vibes, SEGA’s Jet Set Radio 25th Anniversary promises a week of throwback rebellion and fresh creativity.
