From Vivid Helix and Eastasiasoft Limited comes a sizzling new opportunity to command a dystopian kitchen empire—Neon Noodles is launching July 16 on PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
Inspired by automation classics like Opus Magnum and Infinifactory, Neon Noodles tasks players with designing and optimizing their own robotic food factories in a dark, neon-soaked cyberpunk future. Players must program mechanical chefs to cook over 250 authentic recipes using more than 400 ingredients, all while uncovering a branching narrative about memory loss, corporate corruption, and culinary rebellion.
Build. Cook. Optimize.
You’ll start as a mysterious figure within a Criminal Rehabilitation Program, forced to work off your sentence by managing a high-tech kitchen under the thumb of a shadowy food conglomerate. By precisely scripting your robots’ every movement, you’ll prep dishes like ramen, sushi, paella, and guacamole—automating every chop, stir, and sizzle.
Want your noodle assembly line to be perfectly symmetrical? Go for it. Prefer a chaotic but functional mess of machinery? That works too. The game allows you to build however you like—with function, beauty, or both in mind.
“Neon Noodles was built from the ground up with controller support,” said solo developer Radu Muresan. “So it feels just as good to play on Switch or Xbox as it does with a mouse. And if you’ve ever played Overcooked and thought, ‘I want this, but without the shouting,’ this is it—you get to automate it all with cool little robots instead.”
Preorder and Wishlist Now
Console players can finally join the production line, whether they’re solving puzzles on the go or optimizing their factory layouts from the couch. The game is available to pre-order or wishlist across all platforms now:
