DC Worlds Collide Launches Globally on Mobile with Superman (DCU) and 70+ Iconic Heroes

DC Worlds Collide, a brand-new free-to-play squad-based RPG, is now available globally on iOS, Android, and Google Play Games for PC. Developed by Warner Bros. Games San Francisco, the game invites players to build their ultimate team of DC Super Heroes and Villains in turn-based battles drawn straight from DC’s most iconic storylines.

With over 70 playable characters at launch — including Superman, Batman, Harley Quinn, Wonder Woman, and more — DC Worlds Collide gives longtime fans and new players alike the power to create their dream squad and take on the invading Crime Syndicate in strategic 3D combat.

Superman (DCU) Leads the Charge

To celebrate the game’s release — and the theatrical debut of DC Studios’ new Superman film — DC Worlds Collide has added Superman (DCU) as the game’s first post-launch character. Voiced and styled after his appearance in the upcoming movie (in theaters July 11), this version of Superman is just the beginning of a summer-long wave of character additions that will also include Guy Gardner, Mister Terrific, and Krypto.

Story Meets Strategy

DC Worlds Collide takes cues from comic arcs like Trinity War and Forever Evil, as players battle back the multiversal invaders of the Crime Syndicate. With the Justice League missing, it’s up to players to summon heroes and villains via a mysterious Mother Box and fight to save Earth from annihilation.

While easy to learn, DC Worlds Collide packs deep strategy into its team-based gameplay. From managing team synergy, character placement, and skill order, to acquiring Artifacts and discovering buff combos, players will need to think tactically to climb the game’s PvP leaderboards or take down challenging bosses.

More Than Just Battle

The game boasts 12 unique game modes at launch, from puzzle challenges and daily events to 5v5 PvP arenas and roguelike maze runs. You’ll face six Crime Syndicate bosses in Evil Falls, compete in Warworld, or join a League for co-op events. Want something a little more laid back? Try The Riddler’s “What Am I?” riddles, or test your build in Weapons Training with Deathstroke.

Legendary filmmaker James Gunn even joined in the celebration with a special launch video, sharing his favorite characters and how games like DC Worlds Collide inspire worldbuilding in his films.
