Maplers, it’s time to dive into something a little fishier than usual. As part of the Stargazer update, MapleStory has teamed up with Dave the Diver for a fully integrated collaboration event that brings deep-sea exploration and sushi-serving chaos to the shores of Maple World. This oceanic crossover is live now and will run through September 23, 2025, with event rewards available until August 26.
Save the Diver, Explore the Blue Hole
A sudden storm has stranded Dave, Cobra, and Bancho on Maple shores, and players must help them return to the ocean depths. Through chaptered story missions, players can earn Diver Tokens, unlock upgrades for Bancho Sushi, and hunt a wide range of undersea critters.
In Blue Hole Exploration, players don diving suits and explore an undersea map inspired by Dave the Diver, complete with familiar fishing mechanics, system upgrades, and resource collection. Those fish are then served up in the Bancho Sushi mini-game, which lets Maplers cook, prep orders, and manage the restaurant while racking up rewards.
Each catch adds to the Blue Hole Codex, an in-game encyclopedia that rewards players with cosmetics and bonuses the more species they log. All of this weaves together into a crossover that’s more than a simple skin-swap. This is a full experience, complete with narrative beats and progression systems pulled straight from Dave the Diver’s charm.
Ride or Die Returns, HEXA Nodes Expanded
The update also continues the Global-exclusive Ride or Die event, where players assist Inspector Libae in stopping Kazax’s latest evil plot. A new “Code X” difficulty mode and fresh Trials introduce tougher combat challenges and unique rewards for those ready to test their mettle.
On the progression side, the 3rd and 4th HEXA Mastery Nodes have arrived, giving 6th job characters new tools for enhanced builds, dynamic skill combos, and greater class flexibility.
