Monomi Park has announced that Slime Rancher 2 will officially leave early access and launch in full on September 23, 2025, bringing the game to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam & Epic) with Version 1.0 packed full of new content. To celebrate the series’ 10th anniversary, the team is also partnering with iam8bit to release two physical editions of the game on January 14, 2026, featuring exclusive artwork by legendary Final Fantasy artist Yusuke Naora.
The upcoming 1.0 update promises to deliver the most feature-rich version of Slime Rancher 2 yet, including:
- Quantum Drones to help automate resource gathering and exploration
- Dozens of new blueprints for decor, gadgets, and upgrades
- New sections of the Grey Labyrinth to explore
- A finale that uncovers the deepest secrets of Rainbow Island
